Celebrating Member Appreciation Month

[MECHANICSBURG, PA] Throughout the month of January, Members 1st Federal Credit Union will show its appreciation for its nearly half a million members as part of Member Appreciation Month.
The credit union officially launched its campaign “Members mean the world to us” this morning with a video message of gratitude from President & CEO George Nahodil, who thanked members for their commitment to the credit union since its inception in 1950. “Member-owners have been an integral part of our success story and that remains true today,” said Nahodil. “At our core, we are about people helping people—and we take that philosophy very seriously.”
Members 1st associates will celebrate its five generations of members in its nearly 60 branches, communities and online through a variety of random acts of kindness from randomly selecting members to receive a gift card and gifting an exclusive Member Appreciation Month tote to personalizing and sharing thank you cards with members they serve.
“Members 1st has always been a place where members truly do come first,” says credit union company spokesperson Mike Wilson. “As we continue to evolve and grow, so does our commitment to serving our members. There is no better time than now during Member Appreciation Month to thank our members for allowing us to be part of their life stories and milestones.”
Branch managers will also host pop-up events in the community to support and celebrate business members. Members who reside outside of our footprint will also have opportunities to participate in the celebration by participating in weekly trivia on our social media channels and through Members 1st's digital banking platforms, where members will be randomly selected to receive gift cards.
“Our members are at the heart of everything that we do,” says credit union VP of Retail Services Brad Garfinkel. “The teams that make up our eight-county branch footprint are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to our members and show our appreciation for them in such a meaningful way.”
