COMMON QUESTIONS

Any current Members 1st member can participate in the referral program and earn rewards by referring friends or family who are not yet members. 

For every successful referral, you will receive a $25 Amazon.com gift card. Keep referring friends to earn up to $500 in Amazon.com gift cards per calendar year!

To sign up, simply log in to your Members 1st account, click on the referral banner in digital banking and follow the instructions to create a referral account. Once registered, you’ll get your unique referral link to share. 

Both you and the friend you referred will receive your $25 Amazon.com gift cards via email after your friend successfully opens an account using your referral link. The email will contain instructions on how to redeem the e-gift card. You will receive the gift card within a few days after the referred person’s account is successfully opened. 

To be eligible for the reward, your friend must use your unique referral link when opening their account. 

The referral program is only available to new members, so your referral must not have been a member of Members 1st within the past 12 months. 

Yes, referred members must meet the eligibility criteria for opening a new Members 1st account and use your referral link during the application process.

Members 1st Digital Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Program Requirements 

  1. Any existing member in good standing can participate by sharing their personal link. Upon sharing, you will become a referrer (“Referrer/s”) and will be given a unique web link to share with friends and family who are not already a member of Members 1st (“Friends”) and who are happy to receive the link from you.
  2. Friends must use the link to register their details and join Members 1st. Friends consent to communication of confirmation of membership to the Referrer.
  3. Referrer and Friend will each receive their reward subject to these Terms & Conditions.  
  4. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  5. Referrers' and Friends' ("Users") personal data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Promotion. Members 1st will comply with all requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Regulation P, and all other pertinent federal and state privacy laws.
  6. Members 1st reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the Promotion subsequent to any revision of these Terms & Conditions, Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.   
  7. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, X or Facebook or any other form of social media. By entering this Promotion, Users are providing information to Members 1st and not to X or Facebook and agree to release X and Facebook from any liability associated with the Promotion.  
  8. Eligibility of prospective member is subject to verification.
  9. Current members and joint owners do not qualify as prospective members.
  10. Associates, volunteers and officials of Members 1st are not eligible.
  11. The following account types are not eligible for payout under this Promotion:

    2. Business Accounts 
    3. Custodial Accounts
    4. Trust Accounts
    5. Estate Accounts
    6. Burial Reserve Accounts 
    7. Donation Accounts
    8. Public Funds Accounts
    9. IOLTA Accounts
  12. Bonuses will be reported to the IRS for income tax purposes. Members 1st will issue you a 1099 or other appropriate tax form.

Qualifying Action

A “Qualifying Action” is defined as all of the following:

  1. The Friend joining and accepting membership at Members 1st 
  2. $5 is required to open account and must remain in account until closure
